Perhaps this poll is a bit late...or perhaps it's as timely as ever.

We're halfway through the biggest month for videogame sales and over halfway through the shopping season.

So have you changed your spending habits?

And if so, is that because you're trying to save or is there just not that much stuff you want this Christmas?

Have you changed the way you're shopping for everyone else?  Has your gift giving list shrunk?

Or if you don't work because you're too young....has your allowance decreased?  Are your parents buying you less?  Did they make you make a shorter Santa list?

Or maybe you're just holding back now and waiting for those huge post-Xmas fire sales that everyone's bound to have.

Or is this financial meltdown one big conspiracy theory designed to make you think the sky is falling...again?

Let us know how you feel...and as always:

Happy Voting!

It's not really affecting my Christmas purchases as far as I can tell... Maybe subconsciously, but I bought a Wii for my brother which was the most expensive present I have ever bought.

"Or is this financial meltdown one big conspiracy theory designed to make you think the sky is falling...again?"

Most definitely not a conspiracy... Not of that kind at least. Things will get bad in 2009, we've just seen the beginning.

I'm too young to have a job effected by the economic downturn. I babysit two autistic kids 3 times a week. That's about as steady as they come.

I don't buy anything for Christmas anyway, but my parents are not spending as much.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

I got a raise, and prices are down, so no.

No, I'm actually going to be spending a bit more than last year, but then I've only got 4 people to buy presents for and sales have been pretty good this year.

I'm Hindu, so I don't celebrate the supposed birth of the sky man
